Colors of Hope - Independence Day Celebration and Chalk Art Contest

Join us and show the community your hopes and dreams for the Future of our Grate Nation. Create some sidewalk chalk art just for fun or to win some great prizes. 

There will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place ribbons and PRIZES for both adult and kids. Judges will be looking at not just the beauty of the completed art works but also the incorporation of the theme - Colors of Hope. You don't need to be the next Georgia O'keefe to participate. Everyone of all artistic skill levels welcome and encouraged to get their fingers chalky!

We will be providing chalk but you are welcome to bring your own if you have some you'd like. Anything you use needs to be water soluble and safe for the environment.

Judging will be at 11:30. You are welcome to start your artwork anytime before the event, just keep in mind this is a public space.

From 10:00 - 11:00 the association will be providing Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream on a first come first serve basis for the first 50 Colonialtown Northerners that come to participate. There will be a non-dairy option. We will also have soda and water to keep you hydrated while you create your chalk masterpiece.

There will be tunes, some red, white, and blue swag and 100% Good Vibes! We will be right in front of the playground and the park so bring your friendly puppers and make sure the kids have on some play clothes.
